Certification

The process of becoming a CEFT practitioner is

  • Complete and mail in the application. It will require:
  • Proof of a current, unsanctioned license to practice psychotherapy in your state of residence will be required.
  • Payment of $500.00
  • Upon receipt of your application and confirmation of your licensure you will be mailed the CEFT program manual.
  • Read and master the concepts in the manual. You will be provided with contact information for the EFTA certifying board. When you are ready to complete the certification examination contact us and we will provide you with the address for the online exam.
  • Upon successful completion of the exam you will be granted your certification.*
*Your certiciation will be granted for the same length of time your license to practice therapy is granted. When your license to practice therapy comes up for renewal, mail a copy of the renewed license to EFTA with a renewal form and a check for $75.00 to have your CEFT certification renewed. This allows the EFTA to ensure that no one who loses their license or allows it to expire continues to practice EFT.
